TUITION PROFILE:

As a tutor my greatest asset is my ability to identify with my students anxieties and therefore cater for them through the delivery and structure of lesson plans in which I break down difficult concepts into bite size portions often using real life analogies in order to conquer the fear of learning something new.

I have 9 years experience in computing, including 4 years as a tutor both in private and government establishments. I've worked as a part-time tutor for WAES – Westminster Adult Education Service for 2 years in allocated venues within the community teaching Introduction to Computing, Beginners and Intermediates in MS Word, Excel, Access applications and Internet/E-mail. By popular request of senior adult learners, I successfully ventured into offering my services as a private tutor. For my personal fulfilment I volunteer my time and skill conducting an IT workshop supporting overseas nursing and teaching staff once a week at London Centre for Early Years Care & Education, as well as donating 2 hrs a week tuition for senior learners at the Notting Hill Housing Group Resource Centre.
